Interior

The running gear of the Superformance GT40 Continuation series is also built around the original specifications and designs featuring the original racecar suspension layout, rack and pinion steering and even a removable steering wheel for easy access to the cockpit. Owners also have the luxury of modern safety modifications such as Wilwood super light brakes, Bilstein shocks with H&R springs and an adjustable pedal box.

The suspension features the original race car lay out. In fact, so original are the GT40 Continuation models that two thirds of the parts are interchangeable with an original.

The GT40 Continuation accurately replicates the original chassis, suspension, steering, wheel hubs, uprights and wheels to name a but a few components.

We offer the following wheel options on the MKI: The standard MK1 BRM style rims are 10" wide in the rear. Available on special order are the MKI BRM style 8" rims or the wide body 13" rims. The spare wheel access cover can be ordered in a single or dual opening type.
